About the Forest Display

The SIGA Enchanted Forest is now in its 9th Season as Saskatchewan’s favourite Christmas Light Display and Christmas Tradition for thousands of families throughout the province. The SIGA Enchanted Forest is a unique Drive-thru Christmas Light Display that winds through an actual Forest, utilizing huge illuminated evergreens as backdrops for a collection of computer animated light displays including the new Fireworks display and the popular Twelve days of Christmas. The combination makes the SIGA Enchanted Forest one of the best displays in Canada. Close to 60,000 visitors view the spectacular displays every year.

Benefits Two Foundations

The SIGA Enchanted Forest is presented by the partnership of the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation and the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation. Proceeds from the SIGA Enchanted Forest support the many worthwhile projects of the foundations, The Saskatoon Zoo Foundation recently announced that their share of the proceeds will go towards the “Cameco Who’s Whoo at the Zoo” campaign to construct five new and much needed exhibits. The Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation will use their portion of the proceeds to purchase much needed diagnostic equipment.

Group Tours

The best way to experience the SIGA Enchanted Forest is with a group of family or friends. The most popular group tours are by bus or horse drawn wagon.

• Charter Bus Tours ~ Book a Charter Bus Tour with a Bus Company of your choice or call Saskatoon Transit Customer Service at 975-7622.
• Horse Drawn Wagon Ride ~ Experience the Forest lights the old fashion way with a wagon ride pulled by a team of horses. Private booking for groups of 16 are now being accepted and must be made in advance by calling 373-0754. Wagon rides are extremely popular and should be booked early to get the best selection of holiday dates.
• Bus Tours ~ Tour Bus operators are invited to include the SIGA Enchanted Forest as an added attraction on their tour itinerary. Bus Drivers should call the Gate at 975-7848 approximately 15 minutes prior to arrival to be cued into line by security. Gate admission prices are $4 per person and no charge for the bus driver. Please have a cheque payable to the Enchanted Forest or cash ready for the Gate attendant. A tour of the Forest takes approximately 25 minutes depending on traffic. Remember the SIGA Enchanted Forest is Saskatchewan’s top winter tourist attraction and well worth the visit.

Last year we introduced the spectacular "Holiday Celebration" Fireworks display sponsored by the 17 Wing Detachment Dundurn. This year we're adding on to the attractive display by making the Fireworks in Lights family-favourite display even higher just like real fireworks!

Introducing the new Giant Christmas Pointsettia proudly sponsored by Sun Life Financial. This beautiful custom-built animated flowering display is sure to become a favourite especially with those who appreciate Christmas traditions.
