The 22nd BHP Enchanted Forest set new attendance records during a pandemic that forced the cancelation of most other special events in Saskatchewan. The event themed “Christmas Staycation” attracted 91,995 visitors from November 20th thru January 9th. This surpasses the previous high mark of 80,520 set in the 2018/2019 light show. Also, a record 25,998 vehicles took visitors on a 2.5km Holiday Light Tour through the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park.

“The Saskatoon Zoo Foundation is so grateful for all of the support of our sponsors and visitors of this years BHP Enchanted Forest and we hope the lights brought some brightness to everyone’s holiday,” Dawn Woroniuk, Executive Director, Saskatoon Zoo Foundation.

“We are grateful that so many people started their Christmas Staycation with their families on a trip to the BHP Enchanted Forest,” Steve Shannon, CEO Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.

Thank you to our incredible display sponsors especially our Title Sponsor BHP, and Saskatchewan Blue Cross. Blue Cross has sponsored the Light Walks for many years and with the cancellation of the Light Walks as a Covid19 safety precaution, moved their sponsorship to the new Tunnel of Lights Tribute display honouring our essential services.
